Ya Llegué (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is an employee time-tracking application. This policy describes what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address — used for authentication and account recovery
- Full name — displayed within the app for identification
- Phone number (optional) — used for account contact purposes
Location Data
- GPS coordinates — recorded only at the moment you clock in and clock out. We do not track your location continuously or in the background.
- Reverse-geocoded address — a human-readable address derived from your GPS coordinates at clock in/out.
Work Data
- Time entries — clock-in/out timestamps, duration, and associated job site
- Job site information — name, address, and geofence radius (set by your employer)
- Company membership — your role and association with a company account
Purchase Information
- Subscription status — managed through Apple App Store / Google Play via RevenueCat. We do not process or store payment card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Time tracking — to record when and where you clock in and out
- Employer reporting — to provide your employer with attendance and payroll data
- Geofence verification — to verify you are at an assigned job site when clocking in
- Account management — to authenticate you and manage your subscription
- Notifications — to send clock-in/out reminders (if enabled)
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Your data is shared only in the following ways:
- With your employer — administrators of your company can view your time entries, locations at clock in/out, and work hours
- Service providers — we use the following third-party services to operate the app:
- Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, or legal process
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Supabase cloud infrastructure with row-level security policies that restrict access to authorized users only. Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth with secure token management. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
5. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you or your employer deletes your account, your personal data will be removed from our systems. Time entry records may be retained by your employer for payroll and compliance purposes.
6. Your Rights
You may:
- Access the personal data we hold about you (visible within the app)
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw location permissions at any time through your device settings (note: this will prevent clock-in/out functionality)
7. Children’s Privacy
Ya Llegué is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by email.
